Meditation is a state of presence that can take many forms. Often, I hear clients say, "I am just not good at meditating." I suggest that it's common for all of us to struggle with being present, which is why so many practices exist to help bring us back into our bodies and our feelings.
For me, a bowl tea ceremony is one way

to invite participants to reconnect with themselves and to practice reverence for the ordinary. This practice encourages us to enhance our ability to simply be with what is. The tea serves as a co-facilitator, guiding people back into a deeper connection with themselves.
During a bowl tea ceremony, participants choose their tea, their bowl, and, if they wish, oracle and animal cards that accompany them throughout the process. Afterwards, they are invited to reflect on their journey through journaling and/or sharing their experiences. This form of spiritual practice can be conducted one-on-one or in a small group of up to eight people.
